The Jane Goodall Legacy Fund
Carrying Forward Jane’s Legacy
Dr. Jane Goodall spent more than sixty years inspiring the world to care for animals, people, and the planet. Her greatest belief was simple: every young person, given hope, knowledge, and opportunity, has the power to change the world.
As we honour Jane's extraordinary life, we look forward, to the next generation who will inherit the environmental challenges ahead, and the role we must play in equipping them to respond.
Through the Jane Goodall Legacy Fund, your support will accelerate Education for Earth, a bold national initiative to become Australia's future platform for conservation education. At a time when young people face climate anxiety and growing disconnection from nature, education must do more than inform. It must build resilience, nurture agency, and turn concern into capability.
Your donation will help:
- Expand gold-standard environmental education across Australia
- Empower young people as environmental leaders and changemakers
- Support teachers with practical, action-based learning
- Grow Roots & Shoots and youth-led conservation action nationwide
This is more than a tribute. It is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape how the next generation understands and protects the living world.
As Jane reminded us:
“Every single day you live, you make a difference in the world, and you get to choose the difference that you make.”
Together, we can ensure her legacy lives on, not only in memory, but in the actions, leadership and hope of the next generation.
