Africa: Hope in Action
Help protect chimpanzees and the forests they call home
Across Africa, chimpanzees face growing threats from habitat loss and forest fragmentation. Without action, their survival and the wellbeing of surrounding communities are increasingly at risk.
Your donation can help change that.
Building on Dr Jane Goodall's extraordinary legacy, our 10-Year Africa Strategic Plan, led by Debby Cox OAM, focuses on practical, community-led conservation across Burundi, Uganda, Rwanda and Liberia.
Where your donation goes
Your generosity helps fund vital conservation work, including:
-
$2,000could plant 2,000 native trees in Rwanda, reconnecting fragmented chimpanzee habitats.
-
$5,000could fund a year of camera traps and wildlife monitoring in Burundi's Kibira National Park.
-
$10,000could provide a year of food, care and veterinary support for an orphaned chimpanzee at Tchimpounga.
Your support also helps strengthen local communities, recognising that protecting chimpanzees means protecting the people and forests around them.
Every dollar makes a difference
Australian donations can go further in many of the African communities where we work, making even a modest gift meaningful.
Whether you give $25, $50, $100 or more, you're helping protect chimpanzees, restore forests and build a future where animals, people and nature thrive together.
Jane gave us hope. Now it's ours to turn into action.
Please donate today and help protect their future.
Every dollar counts. Hope is action.
