Roots & Shoots Victoria, along with Zoos Victoria, invite you to honour this years International Day of Peace with a special Peace Day event at Melbourne Zoo.
Begin the day by finding peace within through a special yoga session hosted by Lola Berry. Lola is an accredited yoga teacher, nutritionist, presenter and author, and will guide you through a memorable class. More information can be found at lolaberry.com, Facebook or Instagram @yummololaberry.
Following the yoga session, you will have the chance to participate in a variety of entertaining and educational activities, including an exciting animal enrichment activity, a Zoo scavenger hunt and even creating a reusable tote bag using an old t-shirt that you can take home with you.
Dr Jane Goodall has been a UN Messenger of Peace since 2002 and she continues to inspire us all to live in harmony with nature and each other.

What: A free 45-minute 'beginners' yoga session with special guest instructor Lola Berry and an afternoon of fun-filled activities, including animal enrichment activity, Zoo scavenger hunt and a t-shirt bag making workshop.

Entry is free for Zoos Victoria members or children under 16 years old. Accompanying adults or youth over 16 years old can collect a free entry ticket upon arrival.
Please Bring: Clothing that you can do yoga in, yoga mat (optional), drink bottle, morning tea snack, lunch (or money to buy lunch) and any medication. Dress for the weather - we will be inside and outside.

*** The yoga session with Lola Berry is being hosted by Melbourne Zoo. Many Zoo members (of all ages) will also be joining us. Afternoon activities are targeted towards Roots & Shoots and Youth at The Zoo (YATZ) members.
